BBQ Noodles

This recipe came together after wanting something quick and easy to make one evening. Its inspired by wagamama’s traditional noodle fetish which is so popular amongst most that we thought perhaps we could make a vegan version of our own.

Using ingredients we all ready had and imagining the flavours we wanted to create we came up with this very simple but very yummy recipe that you need to try!

Again like we say a lot, it doesn’t matter if you are vegan or not. You don’t need to isolate yourself from the ‘vegan club’ when it comes to food. Food is for everyone, it just doesn’t have all the extra ingredients you may typically be used to.

Ingredients –

(Serves 2)

  • 130g Green Beans
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Canned Chickpeas
  • 1 Brocoli
  • 200g Mushrooms
  • 5tbsp BBQ Sauce
  • Noodles


1) First you need to chop your vegetables. This includes your green beans, onions, broccoli and mushrooms. Once all the vegetables have been sliced into small chunks, heat up your frying pan and add the vegetables to the pan. Leaving them to cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes.

2)Add your canned chickpeas including the water that the chickpeas are contained in. Make sure you stir well, season and then leave to simmer on medium heat for another 10 minutes.

3)Whilst the vegetables are simmering, aBBQ NOODLESdd the BBQ sauce and mix well. Top the vegetables with some water and leave to simmer for approximately 5 minutes.

4)Now for the noodles! Your vegetable mix should be nearly ready which means its time to add your noodles. Once added, mix in well and leave to cook for a further 5 minutes before serving.
