Now this dish is ultra flavoursim and something I like to call the super food!

Some of the health benefits from these ingredients include, a good source of vitamin K which improves bone health, primarily sourced from broccoli and kale. This dish is also high in Iron from the Kale used which is essential for good health, transporting oxygen to various parts of the body, cell growth and liver function. Kale has many other health benefits including antioxidants which prevent serious diseases. Vitamin A sourced from the swede used in this dish maintains healthy vision, neurological functioning and healthy skin. The list goes on with the health benefits from the ingredients used in this dish which ultimately makes it a super food dish!

Now that you are aware of how good this recipe actually is you’ll probably like to know how simple it is to make….
To start off with you will need the following ingredients :
- 1 Brocoli
- 4 Carrots
- 1 Swede
- 150g Kale
- 150g Mushrooms
- 4 Spring Onions
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 3tbsp Butter
- 200ml Water
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Marojam
- 1 Kallo Cube
First boil some water in a saucepan. Dice your swede and carrots and place into the boiling water.
Prepare the veg by slicing the broccoli, mushrooms and spring onions and placing them into a frying pan of oil. Let the veg cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
Add the Kale to the frying pan, stirring occasionally to mix in with the veg. Cook for a further five minutes.
Now add your chopped garlic and tsp’s of marojam into the frying pan letting the flavours indulge into the veg.
After a few minutes add your water to the frying pan, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and add your Kallo Cube. Leave to simmer for 2 minutes before adding the butter to the pan. This will end up being your gravy.
Leave your veg mix to simmer and attend to the swede and carrots. If they are soft, take them off the hob and drain well. Mash the carrots and swede, adding a little bit of butter if necessary until you get a nice texture.
Your veg should now be ready. Plate up your mash and top with the veg finishing off with the gravy from the veg mix.
